Steven Paul Songer, 19 of Washington went home to be with The Lord on Sunday-June 12, 2016. He was born December 15, 1996 in Pittsburgh Pa. the son of Paul J. and Shelley E. Wood Songer Sr. of Washington. Mr. Songer attended The Linsly School in Wheeling, West Virginia and later attained his High School Diploma online. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. Mr. Songer loved to play golf and was an active member of Lone Pine Country Club. He enjoyed snow skiing and spending time with his friends and family. He also cherished the time that he spent with his beloved dog; “Max”.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his brothers and sisters; Julie Elizabeth Songer at home, Paul (Barbara) Songer Jr., Linda (Eugene) Fahey, Eugene (Cyndi) Songer, Ann Marie (Herk Delong) Fargo, Kathleen (Dennis) Kelly, Maureen Witting, John Songer, Janice Farrell, Thomas (Cindy) Songer and Kevin (Randy Liebig) Songer, and a grandmother; Doris Grim. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Mr. Songer was preceded in death by a sister; Elaine Reihner.

Friends will be received on Wednesday-June 15, 2016 from 2 P.M. until 7 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday-June 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 119 W. Chestnut St. Washington. Those wishing to attend the Mass are asked to go directly to the Church on Thursday. Entombment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to John F. Kennedy Catholic School, 111 W. Spruce St. Washington Pa. 15301 or to The Linsly School, 60 Knox Lane Wheeling West Virginia 26003.
