William R. Haynes

William R. Haynes passed away on Monday-October 9, 2017 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.  He lived on his family’s farm in Washington Pa. for the last 27 years. 

Bill was born in Pittsburgh Pa. on December 16, 1958.  He is survived by his beloved children; Marissa, Chelsea (fiancé Logan McAnany) and Nick.  Bill was predeceased by his father and mother; Robert and Regina Haynes.  He is also survived by his nine siblings; Regina Villarreal, Bobby, Martin (Darlene), George (Bay), Rosemary Kogelschatz, Richard (Megan), Patty McGrady (Bob), Helen, Ronald (Karen), and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bill was the owner of Haynes & Haynes Construction Company.  He was a Eucharist Minister who was honored to bring communion to his Mom and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  Bill was an avid sports fan and was very active in coaching youth basketball and softball.  His passion though was football.  Bill played football at the University of Notre Dame and later coached football at W&J.  He was so proud of his son Nick who is currently playing football at Ole Miss.

Bill will always be remembered for his great sense of humor.  He “lit up the room” wherever he went.  He was a kind and very generous soul.  He worked for his children, his family, farm, friends, church and the community. A giver of his time, he had a tender attendance toward the one in need. 

Friends will be received on Friday-October 13, 2017 from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M. and from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.  A celebration of Bill’s life will begin with a prayer service at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday-October 14, 2017 in the funeral followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, Washington with the Rev. William P. Feeney as celebrant.
