Marian Mersky Cuccaro

Marian M. Cuccaro, of Orlando, Florida a long-time resident of Washington, Pa. area, died peacefully, Tuesday-April 25, 2017 after a long battle with health issues.  She passed away at Tuskawilla Nursing and Rehab in Orlando, FL.

She was born in 1954 in Washington, Pa. the daughter of the late William Mersky Sr. and Kathryn Antol Mersky.  Mrs. Cuccaro was a 1972 Trinity High School graduate, she then graduated from the Washington Hospital School of Nursing and was a long-time nurse at the Washington Hospital.  She was married to the former Police Chief of North Franklin Township, Roger J. Cuccaro who passed away on May 23, 2013. 

She is survived by her daughter; Amanda Cuccaro-Evans, son-in-law; Lucas W. Evans and grandsons; Zane Michael Evans and Zachary Matthew Evans, all of Orlando, FL.  She is also survived by her brothers; William Mersky, Richard Mersky and Steve Mersky Sr., all of Washington, Pa. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday-May 24, 2017 at the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Meadow Lands with Father Carmen D’Amico as celebrant.  Interment will follow at 12:30 P.M. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.
