Cecelia K. "Big C" Olinger

Cecelia K. “Big C” Olinger, 88 of Washington died Thursday-May 4, 2017 at the Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care following a two year illness.  She was born October 6, 1928 in Washington the daughter of the late Thomas & Estella Greenawalt Kapis.  Mrs. Olinger was employed as a Secretary at Amwell Twp. Grade School & Trinity High School for 33 years until her retirement.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.  She enjoyed gardening and had been a volunteer at the Washington Hospital Auxiliary.

Surviving are her children; daughter; Elizabeth “Buffy” (Denny) Furbee of Bentleyville, sons; Brian (Melissa) Olinger of Washington & Thomas Olinger of Waynesburg.  Several nieces & nephews also survive. 

Mrs. Olinger was preceded in death by a son; Jimmy Olinger, a brother; Thomas Kapis & a sister; Delores Drezenski.

Arrangements are private and under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S.
