Donald W. Rutan Jr.

Donald W. Rutan Jr., 68 of Washington died Saturday-September 9, 2017 in his home following a brief illness.  He was born October 5, 1948 in Washington the son of the late Donald & Dolores Rush Rutan Sr.  He had been employed as a Lead Technician at the Pennsylvania Transformer for over 30 years.  He was a graduate of Trinity High School and also attended a technical school for trade work.  Mr. Rutan loved car shows, was an avid Steeler fan and enjoyed oldies concerts. He loved spending time with his family and will be sadly missed by his friends, family and his loyal companion, his dog” Striker.”

On January 7, 2004 he married Christina F. Johnson who survives.  Also surviving are 2 sons; Bradley (Jenifer Hannan) Rutan & Donald Rutan III, a sister; Tawyna Rutan, 3 grandchildren; Zachary Rutan, Thomas Rutan & Bridget Rutan, 2 great- grandchildren, nephew; Tavis Rutan, niece; Tondra Morris, uncle; David (Barbara) Rush.

Friends will be received on Wednesday-September 13, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S.
