Emil L. "Lenny" Luongo

Emil L. “Lenny” Luongo, 78 of Washington died Tuesday-October 16, 2018 at Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care Washington following a brief illness.  He was born June 4, 1940 in Washington the son of the late Louis D. and Anna Pignanelli Luongo.  Mr. Luongo was a graduate of Washington High School and Geneva College.  He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.  Mr. Luongo was employed as a Buyer for RCA in Meadowlands until the time of their closing.  He then pursued his dream of working as a law enforcement officer by becoming employed as a Deputy Sheriff in Fairfax County, Virginia for 17 years until his retirement.  He enjoyed fishing, was an avid sports fan, had a passion for golfing and loved spending time with his family. 

Surviving is a brother; Ronny Luongo of Washington, a sister; Patti Brennan of Plum, a nephew; Patrick Brennan of Plum, two aunts and several cousins. 

Friends will be received on Saturday-October 20, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday-October 21, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.  A blessing service will be held on Monday-October 22, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
