Benjamin Prescott, 65 of Washington died Friday-May 4, 2018 in his home following a lengthy illness.  He was born June 24, 1952 in Pittsburgh Pa. the son of the late Benjamin H. Prescott and Edell Johnson of Canonsburg.  Mr. Prescott was a graduate of Wilkinsburg High School.  He then attended heavy equipment operations school.  For many years he worked as a construction worker for many companies; most notably, Trumbull Corporation, W.P. Dickerson Corporation and Shawrose Construction company.  He also worked as an electrical motor mechanic at United Industrial Group for 21 years from where he retired.  Mr. Prescott enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and traveling.  He loved to help people around his neighborhood with anything they needed.  Mr. Prescott also loved gardening and growing vegetables.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Prescott is survived by his wife; Reana Prescott of Washington.  The couple had been married for 32 years.  Also surviving are two sons; Dyson (Lisa Marra) Robinson of Houston, Pa. and Denard Taylor-Prescott of Washington, three daughters; Raquel Prescott of Canonsburg, Karen Robinson of Florida and Tawana Taylor-Prescott of Chicago, one brother; Tehran Prescott of Pittsburgh, four grandchildren; Nacer, Brazil, Maison and Sophia.  A host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to his father, Mr. Prescott was preceded in death by a son; Marcus Jimmy Prescott and a sister; Sharon L. Prescott.

Friends will be received from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. the hour of a funeral service on Friday-May 11, 2018 in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S.
