Robert P. “Bob” Smith Jr., 66 of Washington died Saturday-April 13, 2019 in his home following a lengthy and courageous battle with melanoma.  He was born November 7, 1952 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the son of the late Robert P. and Jane Twinemm Smith.  Mr. Smith was a graduate of Pious High School in Milwaukee and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.  He then went on to the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy.  Mr. Smith was the owner/operator and Pharmacist at the Annex Pharmacy Inc. for 22 years before going to work for the Department of State as a Pharmacy Inspector.  Mr. Smith held this position up until the time of his death.  He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.  Mr. Smith was a competitive skeet shooter and belonged to the Washington Sportsmen Association where he once served as President.  He was a regular weekly participant in sporting clay shooting and was an avid water fowl hunter.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

On March 24, 1979 he married Kathleen Haggerty who survives.  Also surviving is a son, Staff Sgt. Patrick M. Smith, 82nd Airborne, United States Army of Fayetteville, North Carolina and a brother, Timothy (Maribeth) Smith of Madison Wisconsin. 

Friends will be received on Monday-April 22, 2019 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.  A prayer service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday-April 23, 2019 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 119 W.
