Helen E. Bosak

Helen E. Bosak, 97 of Washington passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  She was born February 17, 1925 in Latrobe, PA the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Sova Bosak.  Her family relocated to Washington three years later where she resided for the rest of her life.  Miss Bosak was a 1944 graduate of Trinity High School.  She was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Church since 1953.  Miss Bosak was employed for thirty three years by Hazel Atlas Glass, Continental Can and Brockway Glass, all of Washington.  She retired in 1979.  Miss Bosak loved to travel.  She traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada.  Miss Bosak also enjoyed several trips abroad, visiting many of the countries of Europe and the Caribbean Islands.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Surviving are two sisters, Ann George and Margaret (Calvin) Cokeley; two nieces, Susan Loeser and Kathy (Steve) Bailey; two nephews, Kevin Cokeley and Andrew (Jenifer) Martincic; three great nephews; one great niece and four great-great nieces.

In addition to her father and mother, Miss Bosak was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Steve and Albert Bosak who died in infancy and by a sister, Tressa Martincic.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, Holly Renay Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  The Catholic Daughters of St. James Parish will recite the Rosary at 3:30 P.M. on Monday in the funeral home.  A prayer service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish, 119 W. Chestnut St. Washington with the Rev. Michael Peck as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish, 119 W.
