Timothy Dean Allen

January 27, 1961 - September 15, 2025

Timothy Dean Allen, age 64, passed away at his home on Monday, September 15, 2025.  He was born on January 27, 1961, in Washington, to the late Walter Allen and Catherine Anderson Allen.  Tim was a 1979 graduate of Trinity High School.

Following high school, Tim worked in the glass industry before venturing into his passion for automobiles by establishing his own auto detailing business, which he ran for many years.  A lover of classic cars, Tim owned several through the years.  Beyond cars, Tim was an avid music fan and enjoyed playing and collecting guitars.  His unique sense of humor and his knack for creating spontaneous songs always kept his friends and family laughing.  To those who knew him, Tim was known as the “cool” uncle, always ready with a funny story or a good laugh.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Mallorey Allen (Morgan McKee); his sisters, Pennie (Ron) Foil and Linda (Harry) Ganter; his brother, Jon (Angelika "Mira") Allen; brother-in-law, Harold Mituzas; his dear friend, Susan Shaffer; special nephew, Daniel, along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.  He was the proud godfather to his niece, Abigail Shaffer and his nephew, Nathan Ganter.

Tim was preceded in death by his sisters, Catherine “Kitty” Markley and Patricia Mituzas, as well as his brother-in-law, William Markley.

Tim will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his love for his family, and the laughter he brought to everyone’s life.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. the hour of a memorial service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S.
