David D. McCabe

David D. McCabe, 78, of Washington, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Born on March 11, 1948, and raised in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, David attended Canonsburg High School before continuing his education at Robert Morris University, where he earned dual degrees in Economics and Accounting.

David enjoyed a successful and award-winning career as a senior leasing agent for a premier shopping mall developer.  Throughout his career, he was widely respected for his drive, dedication, vision, and integrity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Grace (Dunn) McCabe and Walter McCabe, and by his beloved sister, Judith Ann (McCabe) Katsuleris ("Judd"), with whom he shared a lifelong and cherished bond.

David is survived by his niece, Nicole (Tom) Cassidy, whom he loved as a daughter; his adored great-nieces, Jeordyn Cassidy and Tatum Cassidy, who brought him immense joy and pride; and his brother-in-law, George Katsuleris, for whom he held great respect and appreciation.

David will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, quiet strength, and wonderful sense of humor.  He loved fishing, enjoyed spending time outdoors, and treasured time spent with family.  Nothing brought him greater happiness than the relationships he shared with those closest to him.  He was a devoted brother and uncle whose love, guidance, and generosity left a lasting impression on his family and friends.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. the hour of a funeral service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director. The Rev. William Younger will officiate.
