Patrick J. Uram

Patrick J. Uram, 51 of Washington formerly of Bratislava, Slovakia died Saturday- November 14, 2015 in his home following a lengthy illness. He was born August 10, 1964 in Washington the son of Andrew G. Uram of Washington and the late Juliana J. Kondos Uram. Mr. Uram was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was a graduate of Pittsburgh Central Catholic, an undergraduate of Washington & Jefferson College and received his Master’s Degree at Katz Business School. Mr. Uram was the Executive Director at the United States Chamber of Commerce in Bratislava, Slovakia. He had a huge appreciation of art, loved animals and music, was active in politics and also with the alumni activities with all three of his alma maters. Mr. Uram enjoyed his family and all of their traditions. 

Surviving in addition to his father are four brothers; James H. Uram of Washington, A. Paul (Donna) Uram of Absecon, New Jersey, Thomas J. (Lynn) Uram of Eighty Four & Matthew G. (Jodi) Uram of Washington, a nephew; Andrew “Ando” Uram and a niece; Brooke Sarah Uram. 

In addition to his mother, Mr. Uram was preceded in death by his life partner; Gary Francis Prestigiacomo and his beloved dog “Wally” whom was by his side for 17 years returning home to Washington with Patrick from Slovakia.

There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday-November 17, 2015 in the Immaculate Conception Church, Washington with the Rev. William P. Feeney as celebrant. Those wishing to attend the Mass are asked to please go directly to the church. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Washington Area Humane Society, P.O. Box 66 Eighty Four Pa. 15330 or to the Immaculate Conception Church, 119 W. Chestnut St. Washington Pa. 15301. Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc.
