Annette E. "Anne" Elias

Annette E. “Anne” Elias of Washington died Saturday-September 10, 2016 after a brief Illness. She was born in Washington the daughter of the late Carmine & Evelyn Julian Ruffa. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church along with the Christian Mothers & Catholic Daughters. Mrs. Elias was a graduate of Washington High School. She had been employed for many years as a bookkeeper for S.A. Meyer Company in Washington until her retirement. She had also supported the Special Olympics along with many other charities.

She was married to James “Jim” Elias who died February 11, 2008. Mrs. Elias was a very caring and compassionate person. Not ever having any children of her own, her nieces & nephews were “her children”. She was very loving and always was there for them whenever they needed her and they too were there for any needs that she had. They had a special bond with their aunt. You would always see them out together and how happy she would be to express to one “This is my niece and nephew, they take such good care of me”. She would be smiling from ear to ear. They meant everything to each other. How special their relationship was.

Mrs. Elias was preceded in death by four brothers; Dominick, Anthony, Joseph & Thomas Ruffa, two sisters; Mary Calabro & Carmela Carrier.

Friends will be received on Tuesday-September 13, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday-September 14, 2016 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church. Entombment will follow in the Washington Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial contributions can be made to the John F.
