Daniel E. “Danny” Horner, 69 of Washington died Wednesday-February 8, 2017 in UPMC Hospital, Oakland after a 5 month illness.  He was born July 26, 1947 in Washington the son of the late James “Jamo” & Blanche Anderson Horner.  Mr. Horner was employed for many years as a maintenance supervisor for ACE reconditioning company until his retirement.  He also had worked for Spence Paining in earlier years.  He was a graduate of Washington High School, enjoyed fishing, boating in Lake Erie & camping and fishing in Reno.  Mr. Horner also served in the United States Army.

In 1984 he married Kim Dagg Sams who survives.  Also surviving are his sons; James “Jamo” Daniel Horner, Donald D. Horner & Troy D. Horner, brother; Walt (Karen) Horner, sisters; Eileen “Dusty” Barker & Mary Stevens, grandchildren; Thane Horner & Tyler Horner, sister in law; Brenda Saunders (Bernie Froats) father in law; Jack Dagg, very good friends; Kenny Dyson, Tommy Mitchell & Joey Daugherty along with several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Horner was preceded in death by a son; Robert Horner (who died in infancy), 3 brothers; James, Donald & Charles Horner, 3 sisters; Ellen Horner, Patty Horner & Virginia Reese, granddaughter; Raina Horner.

Friends will be received on Saturday-February 11, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Joyce Hannen officiating.  Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to any Animal Rescue Organization.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
