Timothy "Timmy" William Smalley

Timothy “Timmy” William Smalley, 61 of Washington died Monday-June 5, 2017 at the Washington Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  He was born April 9, 1956 in Pittsburgh the son of the late Charles Raymond & Betty R. Crothers Smalley.  Mr. Smalley was a hairdresser for over ten years at many salons.  He also served as a Golf Shop Assistant at Lone Pine Golf Course for over 28 years.  He enjoyed his work and loved helping those no matter what the problem may have been.   

Mr. Smalley graduated from Washington High School and from the Beauty Academy in Charleroi.  He was an avid Pirate fan, loved sports and was well known as a big “Prexie” fan.  He was also a member of the Independent Club.  Mr. Smalley had a funny personality, loved people and everyone was his friend. He was the kind of guy that once you met him you never forgot him.  He was just a great person. 

Mr. Smalley was formerly married to his best friend; Jody F. Smalley of Washington.  Also surviving is his daughter; Chelsy Joleen Smalley of Washington, two brothers; Michael J. (Sally) Smalley of Florida & Chuck R. Smalley of Washington, one sister; Pamela (Ray) Batzer of Maryland.  Several nieces and nephews also survive. 

Friends will be received on Friday-June 9, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.   A memorial service will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home with M.J.
