Carmella A. Jeffers, 88 of Washington, passed away peacefully on Friday-April 15, 2022. She was born April 15, 1934 in Washington PA the daughter of the late John and Frances Brach Charmely. Mrs. Jeffers was a graduate of Trinity High School. She was employed as a switchboard operator at Bell Telephone and later at the Washington County Courthouse from where she retired. Mrs. Jeffers was a member of the Washington County Democratic Women. She enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda (William) Snyder of Atlanta, Georgia and Frances Jeffers of Pittsburgh, PA; a sister, Doris Wylie of Washington; two grandchildren, William (Allyson) Snyder and James (Brooke) Snyder and a nephew, John Pennel.

In addition to her father and mother, Mrs. Jeffers was preceded in death by her former husband, John Jeffers and by a brother, John Charmely.

Friends will be received on Thursday-April 21, 2022 from 3 P.M. until 6 P.M. the hour of a funeral service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave. Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director. Burial will be private.
