Angeline Louella Gault

Angeline ‘Angie’ Louella Patterson Gault, 87, of Washington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024.  She was born July 6, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Roy Patterson and Bridget Selvaggi Patterson.

Angie was a 1954 graduate of Trinity High School.  She worked at Fairmont Supply, K-Mart, and the Observer Reporter in Washington until retiring.

In September of 1982, she married Robert ‘Bob’ Gault, who passed away on June 11, 1992.

Earlier in her life, Angie had a passion for traveling, seeing more than 10 countries with her late husband, Bob, and then later seeing the world with her ‘ladies travel group’.

Outside of traveling, her interests were simple, yet regarded: soap operas, Hallmark movies, a good game of Bingo!, and card games - never missing a chance to beat one of her grandkids in a game of Texas Hold ‘em.  Angie also never missed a chance to root for her Pittsburgh Steelers – traveling near and far with her family to watch them play.

She is survived by her four daughters, Terry (David) Jeswald, Cindy (David) Smiddle, Jamie (Paul) Cook, and Dawn Oklesson; and her son, Scott (Sara) Small.  Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Lindsay, Brian, Eric, Jacqueline, Joseph, Dakota, Dylan, Roman, Emma, and Evan; and 11 great-grandchildren, Teddy, Mason, Riley, MJ, Ava, Jonathan, Jaycob, Mia, Domenic, Leonardo, and Harvey.

In addition to her parents and husband, Angie was preceded in death by her grandson, Dalton Oklesson.

Angie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
