Beth Ann Manion

Beth Ann Manion, 64, of Washington, passed away peacefully Monday, June 9, 2025, in UPMC Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.  She was born December 6, 1960, a daughter of Maryann Manion and the late John Edward Manion.  Beth graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1979 and West Liberty State College in 1983.  She worked as a cafeteria manager in the Mecklenburg School System in Charlotte, North Carolina from 1986 until her retirement in 2021.  In 2021 Beth moved back to Washington to help provide care for her mother.

Beth’s interests included cooking, sewing, painting, crocheting and making picture frames.  She was exceptional when it came to arts and crafts.  While living in North Carolina, she made masks for friends and coworkers at the school where she worked during Covid.  She also altered men’s and women’s clothing at her church for members and friends and made her famous fruit pizza for everyone at the church.  Beth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  She worked hard to take care of as many people as she could.  Beth had as strong belief in God, practicing and walking her faith to the fullest on a daily basis.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her mother, Maryann Manion, Beth is survived by her siblings, Diane (Donald) Snoke, Lisa (John) Antonelli of Washington, and John Edward (Melissa) Manion of Lorain, Ohio; nieces and nephews, John (Stacey) Antonelli, Alisia (John) Berg, Amanda (Dustin) Jolliffe, Jennifer (Jim) Jennings and Jack (Meredith) Manion and great nieces and nephews, Parker, Carter, Gemma, Lilly, Ella and Nick.  Also surviving are Beth’s best friends in North Carolina, Cindy and Rhonda.
