Jack R. DeWitt

Jack R. DeWitt, 93 of Washington, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 27, 2025 after a 5 year illness.

He was born October 16, 1931 to the late Albert Ferralli and Alice Voorhes.  Jack served in the United States Air Force from 1950 until 1954.  After his military service, Jack went on to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked as the manager of mechanical engineering for Penn Mould in Washington, PA.

His passions in life were spending time with family, golfing, fishing, gardening and tackling projects around the house. 

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth A. DeWitt of 54 years; his daughter, Debbie (Roger) Spalding; sons, Joseph and Jason; brothers, Rev. Bill and David Voorhes; very special cousins, Harry (Barbara) DeWitt and Larry (Linda) Martin as well as 9 grandchildren.  

A private service for the family was held with full military rites accorded by the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175 and the United States Air Force at the Washington Cemetery.
