Mary Louise Spara Grove, 72 of Washington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 in Transitions Healthcare, Washington. She was born January 10, 1954 in Washington, PA a daughter of the late Theodore and Jacqueline Arcure Spara. Mrs. Grove was a graduate of Trinity High School and was involved at A.R.C. for several years. She was Roman Catholic by faith and at one time attended St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Grove loved to sew, play cards, enjoyed music and playing board games. She also loved to play chess and was a very good player. Most of all, she adored her cats, especially her beloved cat, “Baby”. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

On June 18, 1988 she married Robert Joseph “Bob” Grove who survives. Also surviving is a brother, Kevin (Kim) Spara of Washington; a sister, Katy Spara of Canonsburg; three nieces, Kimberly Hoffman, Taylor Spara Caldwell and Paige Spara; four nephews, Ted Spara, Jesse Spara, A.J. Williams and Lovell Johnson; father in law, Robert Grove and mother in law, Joanne Guzell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Spara.

Friends will be received on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director. A Blessing Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
