Sharon Ann Miller
/Sharon Ann Miller, 83, of Washington, PA, died peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 11, 1942, in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late Lester R. Rizor and Jennie (Morrison) Rizor. Sharon was a member of Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church where she found great spiritual comfort throughout her life. She graduated from East Washington High School and later graduated from cosmetology school.
She worked for many years as a beautician and later as a caregiver to her grandchildren and was a “Nana” to many. Sharon was an avid bowler, gardener and dog lover. She enjoyed vacationing in Rehoboth Beach, DE with her family. Sharon was best known for her incredible sense of humor and brightened up every room she entered.
On September 26, 1992, she married Clarence H. “Buzzy” Miller who predeceased her. She was a devoted grandmother to Colin (Sarah) Kunselman of Indiana, PA and Jenna Kunselman (Cody Tate) of Pittsburgh, who survive her. She spent countless hours caring for them, attending their school and sporting events and performances, and supporting all of their endeavors.
In addition to her grandchildren, surviving are her daughter, Frankie Jo Pacilla (Harry) Kunselman of Freedom, PA; a son, Louis J. Pacilla, II of Washington, PA; great granddaughters, Hailee and Clara Kunselman of Indiana, PA; sisters-in-law, Mary Lee Rizor and Frankie Jo Gerolium; and many wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Clarence Miller, she was predeceased by her brother, Edwin L. Rizor and her first husband, Louis J. Pacilla.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to caregivers Marcy Auer from Brightstar Care, and to the many nurses and caregivers from Gallagher Hospice.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. Until 1:00 P.M. the hour of a funeral service in the Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church, 45 Church Road, Eighty Four, PA 15330. Pastor T.J. Spruill will officiate. Interment will follow in Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
