Kenneth Calvin Aul

Kenneth Calvin Aul, 81 of Washington, PA passed away peacefully at home, with his wife by his side on Monday, July 13, 2026.  He was born March 21, 1945 in Brookville, PA a son of the late Kenneth L. Aul and Margret E. Kahale Aul.  Mr. Aul graduated from Chartiers Houston High School class of 1963 and studied at Penn State University, State College.  He was the owner of Ken Aul Electric and Washington Industrial Maintenance.

Before starting his own business, he worked various jobs, one being the Metro glass plant where he worked for his father.  His passion was golf, until he could no longer play.  Mr. Aul was a long-time past member of Washington Country Club and Nemacolin Country Club.  In his younger years he enjoyed Drag racing at Pittsburgh International Speedway, and tractor pulling at local tractor pulling events.  He served as a member of serval organizations and was the President of the Washington Jaycees in the early 70’s.

He married the “love of his life”, Susan Williams Stoy.  Their story was a long love story that started with love at first sight and lasted 42 years.

Surviving is his wife, Susan Aul and stepdaughter, Catherine (Jason) DeMarco of Pittsburgh and step grandson, Rory DeMarco.

Deceased are his parents, Kenneth L. and Margaret E. Aul and a brother, Richard E. Aul

Friends will be received on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director.  A funeral service will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 6:00 P.M. with Chaplain Dana Motte officiating.  Interment will be private in North Forest Cemetery, Marienville, PA.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the The Watchful Shepherd, Washington County.  The family would like to express their gratitude to David Williams and to Gateway Hospice and Joann Standish, Standish Assisted living for their caring hands.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
