David Anthony Stefancic

David Anthony Stefancic, 73 passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 27, 2026.  He was the son of Eleanore Josephine Stefancic who survives and the late Anthony Stefancic.  David grew up in Illinois with his best friend and cousin, Norm.  He was also very close with his uncle, Swede and aunt, Delores Tyche.

Later in life he loved traveling back to Pittsburgh to spend time on the farm with his grandparents.  He loved snapping beans with his grandmother and he also kept a close eye on the rooster.

David moved to West Alexander when his parents retired and over the years became like a brother to Jessica Plants and a fun uncle to her children, Jacob, Elizabeth and Joshua.

He enjoyed watching wrestling, collecting comics, and videos.  He also loved a good ribeye steak well done.  David had a wonderful memory and always celebrated his grandparent’s birthdays and acknowledged the anniversaries of their deaths.

He could get you to places by memory but always was waiting until you missed your turn only to chuckle and say....you were supposed to turn back there!  David had his own sense of humor and enjoyed a witty joke.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him especially his Mother who devoted her life to him.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Earl Crowley and Mary and Anthony Stefancic.

All funeral arrangements were private and under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S.
