Edward C. Cornetto Jr.

Edward C. Cornetto Jr., of Washington, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the age of 83.  A devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather, one of his greatest joys was spending time with his family.  A lifetime of memories will be cherished by those survived by him including his beloved wife of 60 years, Donna D. Cornetto; his children, Dennis Cornetto (Jennifer) and Kimberly Wilson (Patrick); his grandchildren, Andrew, Steven, Zachary, and Zoe (Ryan); his sister, Nancy Comfort (John); and his several nieces and nephews.

Edward was preceded in passing by his parents, Helen and Edward C. Cornetto Sr.

He was a proud Washington, PA native, who graduated from Washington High School in 1960, and later went on to serve his country with the United States Army for 6 years.  Upon returning home, he spent 42 years working for Cameron Coca-Cola.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, listening to his favorite band, ZZ Top, traveling to watch the Indy 500, playing with his favorite dogs, Skye and Meatball, and rooting for hometown Pittsburgh sports surrounded by family.

Friends will be received on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.  Full military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175 and the United States Army.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
