Ruth A. Rush

Ruth A. Rush, 65 of Washington died Monday-February 22, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital after a brief illness.  She was born July 31, 1950 in Washington the daughter of the late William & Mary Jane Cain McCloskey Sr.  Mrs. Rush was employed as a factory worker for Brockway Glass and also worked at All Clad and Humbert Lane Nursing facility in the housekeeping and laundry department.  She was a 1968 graduate of Washington High School.  Mrs. Rush loved to cook & play bingo at the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175. Her most enjoyable times were those spent with her family and her grand babies. 

On August 31, 1970 she married Robert D. Rush Sr. who survives.  Also surviving are her children; sons; Robert D. Rush Jr. of Washington, & Steven E. (Carrie) Rush of Canonsburg, a daughter; Michelle L. Terrell of Canonsburg, one brother; William V. McCloskey Jr. of the state of Indiana, 8 grandchildren; Justin Hunnell, Steven Rush Jr., Samantha E. Rothka, Anthony Rush, Mark J. Rotka Jr., Kerrigan M. Rothka, Emily R. Terrell & Annaleese J. Rush, 3 great grandchildren; Alaya Davis, Aaron Rush & Kevin Rush, 2 nieces; Teresa Engle & Candice Mahr, 2 nephews; David McCloskey & Joseph McCloskey. 

Friends will be received on Thursday-February 25, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 p.m. the hour of a funeral service with Pastor Bill Barnett officiating in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S.
