Jim Wooldridge
/Jim Wooldridge, 79, passed away at home unexpectedly after a very long illness on January 9, 2026 leaving behind a legacy defined by hard work, a quick wit, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
He was born on Oct 15, 1946 in Lorain Ohio, the 3rd child of Alfred and Evelyn Wooldridge. Jim was a 1965 graduate of Trinity High School. In 1969 he married the love of his life, Sally O'Leary. He was a loving husband, dedicated father, and a cherished pappy. A man of dedicated character, Jim retired from Donley Brick after many years of loyal service.
Jim was known by all for his friendly personality and a sense of humor that could brighten any room. While he took pride in his work, his greatest source of joy was his family. He was a man who lived for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, often sharing how incredibly proud he was of each of them.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sally Wooldridge; his children, Holly (Tony) Rozanc, Jamie (Natalie) Wooldridge, and TJ (Lindsay) Wooldridge; and his sister, Joanne Gillespie. Jim’s legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, McKenzie, Owen, Aidan, Finn, Lennon, Penelope, and Maggie. He also leaves behind his much-loved great-grandchildren, who brought a special light to his later years and his dear cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends. He will be remembered as Jimmy, Slimmy, Cliffy and most of all Twister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 16, 2026 in the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish, 119 W. Chestnut St., Washington. Burial will be private.
