Christopher Michael Swart

Christopher Michael Swart, 51 of Houston, PA, formerly of Washington, PA passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026 in his home.  He was born October 16, 1974 in Washington, PA a son of Gary L. Swart of Washington and Brenda J. Swart of Washington.  Chris was a 1993 graduate of Washington High School and attended Waynesburg University.  He worked in sales in the beverage industry for over twenty years.  Chris was a member of the Keystone Progressive Club and the Arden Athletic Club.  He was an avid golfer and sports fan.  Chris loved spending time at Myrtle Beach with his friends and family.  He was a real people person who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

On June 22, 2021 he married Susan M. Sobraksy-Swart who survives.  Also surviving is his son, Easton V. Swart of Houston, PA and Easton’s mother, Elizabeth Swart of Strabane, PA; a brother, Gary L. (Amy) Swart Jr. of Washington; two sisters, Stephanie (Jason) Ruscello of Washington and Brittany (Billy) Swart of South Carolina; five nephews, Nathan, Jordan, Roman, Grayson and Luca and four nieces, Ashton, Lexy, Alaina and Bailey.  Chris was also an uncle to the many kids of his lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas R. Swart; paternal grandmother, Nedra Turnow and maternal grandmother, Eoline McElroy.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from Noon - 2 P.M. and 4 - 6 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director.  A funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Luke Carney officiating.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics at www.support.specialolympics.org.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
