Norma J. Widmer
/Norma J. Widmer, 91 of Bridgeville, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 in Concordia of Bridgeville. She was born March 6, 1935 in Washington, PA a daughter of the late Harold E. and Mary B. Gubanish Moore. Mrs. Widmer was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School and a 1955 graduate of the Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse for thirty years at Woodville State Hospital and later at Mayview State Hospital from where she retired in 1995. Mrs. Widmer was a member of Holy Child Parish in Bridgeville. She was also a member of the Washington Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. Mrs. Widmer enjoyed reading and loved her cats. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
On February 13, 1965 she married Paul J. Widmer who passed away on September 21, 2007. Surviving are three sons, Gregory B. (Nadine) Widmer of Upper St. Clair, Douglas M. Widmer of Mt. Lebanon and Jeffrey S. Widmer of Carnegie; two grandchildren, Jacob and Michaela Widmer and two surrogate grandchildren, Katie and Martha Tarr.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold E. Moore Jr.
Friends will be received on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 3 P.M. Until 7 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director. A Blessing Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in the funeral home with Deacon Lee Miles officiating.
